The earth is in charge of musculo-skeletal and filtrating systems. The earth part is very important for birth ability, renewal of the tissues and cells in the organism, and for body growth. Earth signs are apt to have weight issues, developing tumors, and high risk of glandular disorders. Generally they tend to pamper themselves with food, so obesity and improper diet are main causes of their problems. Lack of exercise and inactive lifestyle only add to the bulk of problems.

Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn are mostly connected to the earth, so they are strong, enduring, bold and persuasive. They are less exposed to catch cold or flu.

Excess Earth

This type of earth usually has more weight in the lower body parts, and slow metabolism. People with excess earth suffer from routine, want to change something but can’t find a way to overcome it. They need to look for methods to speed up their metabolism, and decrease the density of body tissue.

Include into diet: Fruit salads, greens, steamed veggies with spices and seasoning, more soups and more of herbal tea.

Remove from diet: Baked goods, excessive amount of sugar, high-fat products.

Cure: Bitter drinks and tonics, spices, pepper, turmeric, ginger, chili.

Low Earth

Low earth is quite unstable and seeks for a backbone. They don’t really understand how their body works, they are not in harmony with their inner state. People like these need proper organizing and schedule in order to shape positive eating habits. Low earth people need more sleep, long walks in parks or camping once in a while to restore their strength.

Include into diet: Meat, whole grains, beetroots, carrots, milky products, well-steamed veggies, butter, brown sugar, nuts.

Remove from diet: Fruits and uncooked food.

Cure: Add mineral components to your diet. Seaweed, honey, linden tea.
